두바이 아랍 국제 계리 컨퍼런스(AIAC) IAA 참석 보고 Audience: All 국제계리사회(IAA)는 2026년 2월 4일 두바이에서 개최된 아랍 국제 계리 컨퍼런스에 참여했습니다. 보젠나 힌튼(Bozenna Hinton) 직전 회장이 개막식 기조연설을 맡았으며, 장수(Longevity)를 주제로 한 특별 패널 세션의 좌장을 역임했습니다.
이번 컨퍼런스 기간 동안 IAA 대표단은 중동·북아프리카(MENA) 지역 및 전 세계의 정회원 협회, 규제 기관, 관련 단체 및 개별 계리사들과 활발히 교류했습니다. IAA는 걸프 지역을 포함한 전 세계 계리 전문직의 발전과 지원을 지속해 나갈 것입니다. |
IAA 공개 의견서 및 의견 수렴 업데이트 Audience: All Full Member Associations (Council Delegates and Correspondents) 1. 공개 의견서 공지 - Public consultation on IASB’s Proposed amendments to IFRS 9 and IFRS 7 국제회계기준위원회(IASB)는 금융기관이 포트폴리오 전반의 이자율 위험을 관리하는 방식을 더 잘 반영하기 위해 새로운 회계 모델을 제안했습니다. 자세한 사항은 링크 를 확인해주시기 바랍니다. 본 의견 수렴에 대한 제출기간은 2026년 7월 31일까지 입니다.
IAA는 이에 대한 공식 답변서를 제출할 예정이며, Insurance Accounting Committee (IAC)가 답변 작성을 담당합니다. 모든 답변은 IAA의 '공식 의견 표명 절차' 규정에 따라 작성됩니다.
IAC의 모든 위원 및 참관인은 답변서에 대한 의견 제공을 요청받게 됩니다. 작성 중인 초안과 최종 답변서는 IAC와 공유됩니다. 귀 협회의 의견이 IAC 대표를 통해 제공될 수 있도록 확인해 주시기 바랍니다.

IAA at the Arab International Actuarial Conference - Dubai Audience: All The International Actuarial Association (IAA) actively participated in the Arab International Actuarial Conference in Dubai on 4 February 2026. Bozenna Hinton, Immediate Past President, delivered a keynote address at the opening session and moderated a special panel on longevity.
During the conference, the IAA delegation engaged with several Full Member Associations, regulators, relevant entities, and individual actuaries from the MENA region and beyond. The IAA continues to promote and support the actuarial profession globally, including throughout the Gulf region. |
IAA Public Submissions & Consultation Updates Audience: All Full Member Associations (Council Delegates and Correspondents) 1. Notice of Public Submission - Public consultation on IASB’s Proposed amendments to IFRS 9 and IFRS 7 The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) has proposed a new accounting model to better reflect how financial institutions manage interest rate risk throughout their portfolios. Please click this link for more details. The IASB’s consultation is open for comment until 31 July 2026.
The IAA intends to submit a formal response to this consultation. The Insurance Accounting Committee (IAC) will be responsible for formulating the response to this. The response will be developed in accordance with the requirements of the IAA Due Process for Making a Public Statements.
All members and observers of the IAC will be requested to provide input to the response. The developing drafts and the final response will be shared with the IAC. Please ensure that your association’s input is provided via your representatives in the IAC.
If your association does not have a member or an observer in the IAC, you may nominate an observer to the drafting group to review the developing response. We request you to contact Amali Seneviratne (Director Technical Activities) at the IAA Secretariat as soon as possible, but no later than 6 March 2026 if your association wishes to nominate an observer. Please note that this will be your only opportunity to influence the development of the response, as it will not be circulated outside the IAC.
The final response will be submitted to the IASB on or before 31 July 2026, subject to approval by IAC members. 2. IAA Responses to the IAIS Public Consultation on ICS-related ComFrame Standards The IAA submitted the responses to the public consultation by the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) on the development of ComFrame material for ICS-related standards.
