아프리카 보험계리 역량 강화를 지원하는 IAA Audience: All 국제계리사회(IAA)는 마다가스카르 노시 베(Nosy Be)에서 개최된 프랑스어권 보험감독당국 그룹(GCAF) 연례회의에 기여하게 된 것을 뜻깊게 생각합니다. 본 회의는 마다가스카르 중앙은행(Banky Foiben’i Madagasikara)이 주최하였습니다. Young Actuaries World Cup 2026 결선 진출자 발표 Audience: All 국제계리사회(IAA)는 동반구 및 서반구 준결선을 거쳐 선정된 Young Actuaries World Cup(YAWC) 2026 결선 진출자 4인을 발표하게 되어 기쁘게 생각합니다. 결선 진출자들은 엘리베이터 피치 발표 및 심사위원 질의응답에서 높은 수준의 전문성을 보여주었으며, 이에 따라 글로벌 무대 진출자로 선정되었습니다. 결선 진출자 명단은 다음과 같습니다. Daniel Nkameni, Divyani Mehta (Jain), Hannah Giliomee, Shiela Nicole Cruz 이들은 일본 도쿄에서 개최되는 ICA 2026에 참가하여 각 지역을 대표하게 됩니다. IAA Supports Actuarial Capacity Development in Africa Audience: All The International Actuarial Association (IAA) was pleased to contribute to the Annual Meeting of the Group of Francophone Insurance Supervisors (GCAF), held in Nosy Be, Madagascar, and hosted by Banky Foiben’i Madagasikara. The IAA was represented by Mathieu Langelier, Executive Director at the IAA, who participated as a speaker in the meeting. His contribution focused on strengthening actuarial capacity in Africa, supporting knowledge sharing and professional development across the region. This participation reflects the IAA’s ongoing commitment to actuarial capacity building and to initiatives that contribute to the well-being of society. The IAA thanks the organizers and participants for a highly engaging and successful seminar.

Young Actuaries World Cup 2026 Finalists Announced Audience: All The International Actuarial Association (IAA) is pleased to announce the four finalists of the Young Actuaries World Cup (YAWC) 2026, following the Eastern and Western Hemisphere Semifinals. After delivering elevator pitches and responding to judges’ questions with a high level of professionalism, the finalists were selected to advance to the global stage. The four finalists — Daniel Nkameni, Divyani Mehta (Jain), Hannah Giliomee, and Shiela Nicole Cruz — will attend the International Congress of Actuaries (ICA) 2026 in Tokyo, Japan, where they will represent their respective regions. The YAWC continues to provide a global platform for young actuaries to share innovative ideas, develop leadership skills, and engage with the international actuarial community. The IAA congratulates all finalists and looks forward to the finals at ICA 2026.

Consultation on three draft papers developed by the 2024 IAA Artificial Intelligence Task Force (AITF) Audience: All We are pleased to share the consultation drafts (CDs) of the following three IAA papers developed by the AITF as a part of its 2024 deliverables under the Statement of Intent (SOI) for IAA Activities on AI: 1. Draft IAA Paper - A Framework for Considering AI Risk (Link to Comment template – downloadable in MSWord) 2. Draft IAA Paper - Professional Considerations for Actuaries interacting with an AI Model or System (Link to Comment template – downloadable in MSWord) 3. Draft IAA Paper - Prompting for Actuaries (Link to Comment template – downloadable in MSWord) This is the second batch of papers from the Phase I deliverables the AITF intends to publish as IAA educational papers, aimed at a broader audience. To submit feedback, please use the appropriate Comment Template for each paper (links to three separate templates are provided above). Each template is clearly labelled with the corresponding paper title. Please do not submit comments inserted directly into the draft papers.
