We would like to remind you that we are looking for your assistance to populate the newly formed Membership Assistance Committee. Part of the role of this committee, which stems from the merger of the Advice and Assistance and Membership Committees, is to:
Review and recommend the requirements for membership of the IAA
Establish and oversee the engagement agreements with IAA Associate Members
Develop and implement a membership growth strategy to support the development of the profession
Provide oversight for the coordination and prioritization of relationships and work with actuarial associations, among others
We'll appreciate it if, not later than May 8th, you:
Review your current representatives in the Advice and Assistance and Membership Committees by selecting the name of your association on this page
Provide updated information to the Secretariat
Note that Full Member Associations may appoint one member per entity and multiple observers
Associate Member Associations may appoint members and observers to subcommittees

Update on International Actuarial Note (IAN) 200
We want to inform you of a change regarding International Actuarial Note (IAN) 200. Development of this educational document has been temporarily paused due to an organizational transition.
Responsibility for IAN 200 has recently transferred from the Insurance Accounting Committee (IAC) to our newly established Climate and Sustainability Committee (CSC). This strategic realignment ensures that climate-related considerations in actuarial work receive the focused attention they deserve.
As the CSC establishes its operational framework, creating a dedicated Task Force to advance IAN 200 will be among its first priorities. This Task Force will drive forward the development of this important guidance document.
We appreciate your patience during this transition period. We will provide further updates on both the formation of the Task Force and the continued development of IAN 200 as progress occurs.
