◆ POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly experienced and capable actuarial professional 

to join our LI Actuarial Team as a Manager, reporting directly to the Senior Manager. 

This role will play a key part in driving best estimate assumption setting based on 

experience analysis, profitability analysis, and actuarial model management.

The Manager will lead a team of five actuaries, supporting each member’s growth 

and strengthening the team’s technical capabilities and overall performance. 

As the role requires the ability to interpret actuarial outputs 

from a business perspective to support the strategic business decisions-making, 

strong leadership and the ability to generate actionable business insights are essential. 

◆  REQUIREMENTS:

[Educational Background]

- Bachelor's degree or above

- Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance major preferred



[EXPERIENCE] 

- Broad understanding and extensive hands-on experience in core actuarial functions

- Proven experience in IFRS17 reporting and best estimate assumption setting

- Hands-on experience in profitability/value analysis

- Demonstrated ability to interpret actuarial results and provide actionable insights to support business decisions

- Practical experience with actuarial modeling and solid understanding of cashflow projection

- Proven track record of managing and developing actuarial teams

[SKILL/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES] 

- Strong expertise across the following key areas:

  ▸ Best estimate assumption setting

  ▸ Profitability and value analysis (e.g., NBV)

  ▸ Actuarial modeling

- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to drive actionable business insights

- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

- Proven leadership with strong people management capabilities

- Proficiency in English communication 

[PREFERRED] 

- Recognized actuarial qualifications (domestic or international) or partial exam completion preferred

- Proficiency in MS Office; SQL and Python skills are a plus
