[Position Objective]

Meet the company’s financial target by providing properly priced new products

​

[Roles and Responsibilities]

1. Product Development

- work with cross-functional teams and XXXX group office to develop new products

- establish appropriate pricing for new products based on actuarial analyses and market research

- communicate complex actuarial concepts and results to non-actuarial stakeholders within the company, including senior management, sales teams, and operations

​

2. Product Management

- oversee the ongoing performance of existing products and make recommendations for changes or updates as necessary

- assess and manage risks associated with products including mortality risk, interest rate risk, and other financial risks

- analyze and report on the financial performance of products to senior management

​

3. Team Management

- lead and develop a team of actuarial professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to help them achieve their goals and grow their careers

​

4. Regulatory Compliance

- ensure that all products comply with relevant laws and regulations especially in terms of pricing and benefit structures

[Minimum Job Requirements]

 Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics preferred

 Strong understanding of actuarial science

 Excellent leadership and communication skills

 At least 10 years of experience in product development/actuarial department

 Actuarial license is preferred

 Both verbal and written English communication skill is preferred
